Characteristics
Upright in habit, reaching about 1.2 m, with deep green leaves that form a dense mantle of colour, and trumpet shaped flowers in shades of orange from summer to autumn.

Growing and care
Very easy to grow: it prefers a sunny or lightly shaded position and well drained soil. For the best results feed every two weeks during active growth and remove faded flowers to encourage a longer display. Plant in spring after the frosts, and in cold areas lift or heavily mulch the rhizomes.
