Characteristics
Vibrant blooms of intense mango orange on sturdy upright stems, above bold leaves in varying shades of green that add a further ornamental layer; flowering runs through summer into autumn.

Growing and care
Sun or light shade and fertile, well drained soil. Plant in spring once frost is past, water generously in growth, feed regularly and remove spent flowers. In cold areas lift the rhizomes in autumn or mulch them deeply.

Uses
Exotic borders, colourful focal groups, poolside planting and large containers.
