Canna 'Cannova Scarlet Bronze' is an ornamental canna valued for its showy flowers and lush, bronze tinted foliage.

Characteristics
A perennial reaching 90-120 cm in height and about 45-60 cm across, upright, with sturdy stems and large leaves that form a dense, tropical looking clump. The leaves are large, ovate to elliptic, 30-60 cm long, deep green flushed bronze. Flowering begins in summer and continues into autumn, with scarlet trumpet shaped blooms held above the foliage.

Growing and care
A sunny or lightly shaded position and fertile, well drained soil. Plant in spring once frost has passed, water generously and feed regularly during growth, removing spent flowers to prolong the display. In cold areas lift the rhizomes in autumn or protect them with a deep mulch.

Uses
Tropical style borders, focal groups, poolside planting and large containers on terraces.
